Myriam Elda Arsenault a toujours été passionnée par les histoires, les arts visuels et la musique. Son DEC en Arts Plastiques du CÉGEP de Rivière-du-Loup et son baccalauréat en Arts avec une majeure en Cinéma d’Animation de l’Université Concordia lui a permis d’enrichir ses passions sur le plan académique. Son film étudiant Grand Format a été présenté dans plusieurs festivals de films pour enfants à travers le monde, tel que le Annual BAMKids International Film Festival (Brooklyn, NY ), le Annual Chicago International Children's Film Festival (Chicago, IL ) et le Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (Stuttgart, Allemagne) et est maintenant disponible sur la plateforme facets.org, diffuseur de films éducatifs internationaux destinés au jeune public.
Myriam a travaillé comme animatrice 2D et Stop-Motion, illustratrice et artiste storyboard pour divers clients. Elle a aussi enseigné l'animation aux enfants au Centre des Arts de Dollard-des-Ormeaux. De 2009-2018, elle s’est fortement impliquée dans l’organisation du Festival Stop Motion Montréal en tant membre exécutif, conceptrice visuelle et graphiste. Après le succès de la 10e édition, elle décide de se retirer pour faire place à de nouveau défis créatifs.
Depuis 2012, Myriam travaille comme Réalisatrice et Animatrice 2D/Stop Motion chez Tonic DNA, une maison de production en animation et en contenu créatif de haute-qualité. Dans ses temps libres, elle aime aussi jouer de l'accordéon, faire de la planche à neige et tricoter.

Myriam Elda Arsenault has always been very passionate about storytelling, visual arts and music. These interests led her down the academic path to obtain a degree in Arts from Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup, and a bachelor in Fine Arts with a major in Film Animation from Concordia University. Her student film Oversized has been received as a fan favorite in many children film festivals across the world, such as the Annual BAMKids International Film Festival (Brooklyn, NY), the Chicago International Children's Film Festival (Chicago, IL) and the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (Stuttgart, Germany) and is now available on the facets.org platform, a broadcaster of international educational films for young audiences.
Myriam has worked as a 2D and Stop-Motion animator for multiple clients, as well as an illustrator and storyboard artist. She has also taught animation to children at the Dollard-Des-Ormeaux Centre for the Arts. From 2009 to 2018, she was heavily involved with the Festival Stop Motion Montréal, as a executive member, visual and graphic designer. After the success of the 10th edition, she decided to retire to make room for new creative challenges.
Since 2012, Myriam has worked as 2D/Stop Motion Director and Animator at Tonic DNA, a high-quality animation and creative content production company. In her free time, she also likes playing accordion, snowboarding and knitting.
